As long ago as 1995, while living in New York City, I bought an almost-new Harley Davison Sportster with less than a 1.000 miles on it. The nice lady who had bought it new as part of the ‘must-haves’ for fashionable New Yorkers at the time, had dropped it and immediately sold it again… Result: dented ego for her, dented tank for the Sporty and an almost new Sportster at a great price for me!
Immediately commenced the conversion to cafe racer, bought a tank and rear sets at Storz performance, a Norton Manx saddle off the internet and many other goodies. The shop I worked with in Soho did the upgrade to 1200 cc with Wiseco pistons and Andrews cams. Couple of months and a coat of black paint later – voila!
When in Bangkok just pre-covid, I asked the artist nicknamed “Rusty” to create beautiful, detailed watercolor drawings of my favorite bikes, and then we put these on t-shirts! This particular white shirt features the Hard Motos logo on the chest, on the back you will find the full color drawing of the Hard Motos Harley Davidson Sportster cafe racer. We use fairly produced and 100 % organic cotton shirts, and a special screen printing process which ensures you do not feel the print, but the colors and details really stand out …
All in all – a really nice shirt, a great gift or purchase for all cafe racer an HD Sportster aficionados!
