We fabricated a small series of helmet hangers, completely handmade by re-using large wrenches, modifying them with the torch to become the support for the helmet, then welding them to a plate and adding a backdrop of license plates. Most of these are from the USA, all but one vintage – and when we say vintage we mean vintage, they can be rusted or have pieces missing!
The car plates are mounted on the side, the motorcycle plates which are smaller just horizontal. They are mounted on solid wood, all together making for a very sturdy ensemble that you can safely put your helmet on and hang your coat or racing suit from, including your gloves… As soon as you have mounted it of course – on the wall of your garage, shed, hallway or even living room…
As each one is a unique piece of ‘applied art’, it will really add a nice touch to wherever you want to put it, highlighting your motorcycle passion while looking good even without your helmet on it!
