When I re-created the 1970’s racer that was driven to victory by Pauls Smart at Imola at that time, I based it on an early Ducati monster and the conversion kit made by Stile Italiano in the 90’s, of which only 10 were ever made I believe… Liberties I took: black not green for the frame and both exhausts horizontal rather than one pointing up. Question of taste I guess. And then I replaced all the fibreglass bodywork by unpolished aluminum for looks and durability.
Last year, I asked the artist nicknamed “Rusty”, from Bangkok, Thailand, to create beautiful, detailed watercolor drawings of my favorite bikes, and then we put these on t-shirts! This particular white shirt features the Hard Motos logo on the chest, on the back you will find the full color drawing of the Hard Motos Ducati cafe racer. We use fairly produced and 100 % organic cotton shirts, and a special screen printing process which ensures you do not feel the print, but the colors and details really stand out …
All in all – a really nice shirt, a must-have for all cafe racer and Ducati aficionados!
